NOW ACCEPTING SUBMISSIONS FOR SPRING 2024 ISSUE.

twoOthree Journal of the Arts, the English Graduate Student Association (EGSA) at the University of Texas at Arlington welcomes undergraduate and graduate students to submit creative work in all mediums (fiction, creative nonfiction, poetry, photography, painting, drawings, etc.) for our reestablished journal of the arts.

What do you think of when you hear Phoenix? At twoOthree we think “anew” and that’s our theme for this year, but you are not limited to the theme. If you feel that you need a guide to create or want a new challenge, we are focusing on new beginnings from old ones like a phoenix rising from the ashes. The phoenix has been a sight of hope for many centuries depicted in Egyptian and Greek Mythologies. Immortality, regeneration, combustion, flames, decomposition, ashes and so many other terms associated with the phoenix, so what or how do you express “rising from the ashes?” Art is immortal, so rise like a phoenix, unica semper avis, and submit your creative work for publication in twoOthree.
